On December 3rd 2024, EAU Lithium signed an agreement for the testing of lithium brines from 3 of the largest salt lakes in Bolivia using Vulcan Energy Resources' proprietary technology under license and supported by Zelandez. Vulcan is a partner of EAU Lithium along with YLB, the state lithium company. This signing follows a tender process with 34 applicants from which only EAU Lithium has been selected to proceed at this point. This is the first major step towards a joint venture agreement with YLB in Bolivia for the sustainable development of lithium brine processing facilities on Bolivian salt lakes, part of the lithium triangle in South America.
